Privacy Policy

Last updated: 25 Aug 2026

  • The game collects nothing and sends nothing. It makes no network requests at all.
  • Everything is stored on your own device by your browser. Uninstalling deletes it.
  • This website is an ordinary website. Like any web host it keeps server access logs.

1. Who we are

Amaze Go Arrow Puzzle (the "game" or "extension") is a browser extension published by I AM TAC, New Delhi. This website, https://amazego.iamtac.com, is operated by the same publisher. For anything in this policy you can reach us at support@iamtac.com.

2. Scope

This policy covers two separate things, because they behave differently:

  • The extension — the game you install in your browser. It works entirely on your device.
  • The website — the pages on https://amazego.iamtac.com, including the hint page. This is an ordinary website served by a web host.

Where a statement applies to only one of the two, it says so. We do not claim that "no data exists anywhere": we describe exactly what happens in each place.

3. What the extension stores, and where

The game saves your play data locally using the browser's own extension storage (chrome.storage.local). It stays on your device. It is never uploaded, never sent to us, and we have no way to read it. There is no account and no identifier of any kind.

These are the only groups of data it writes:

  • progress — current level, highest unlocked level, which levels you completed and their star ratings, tutorial and welcome flags, best endless step.
  • settings — sound, music, vibration, animations, difficulty assistance, wrong-direction penalty, theme.
  • records — per level best score, best time, best moves, stars and play count.
  • stats — levels played and completed, total play time, best score and time, mistakes, moves, hints used, day streak.
  • daily — the daily challenge day key, whether you completed it, best score and time, streak.
  • achievements — the ids of unlocked achievements with the time they unlocked.
  • hints — which hint code time windows have already been used, a counter of redeemed codes, and a temporary snapshot of your current run (position in the maze, trail, clock, lives) so the game can be restored after you visit the hint page.

One browser feature is worth knowing about: if you have turned on Chrome profile sync, Chrome may include extension storage in the data it syncs to your Google account. That is a browser setting under your control, not something this extension does or can influence.

4. What the extension never does

  • No accounts, no logins, no email addresses, no names.
  • No analytics, no telemetry, no crash reporting, no advertising code.
  • No tracking, no profiling, no fingerprinting, no advertising identifiers.
  • No selling, renting or sharing of personal information — there is nothing to sell.
  • No reading or modifying of the web pages you visit, your browsing history, tabs, bookmarks or downloads.
  • No remotely hosted code. All code ships inside the extension package and its content security policy only allows scripts from the package itself.
  • No network requests. The game works with your connection switched off.

There is exactly one moment when the extension interacts with anything outside your device: if you press OPEN HINT PAGE, it opens https://amazego.iamtac.com/get-hint.php in a normal browser tab. That is a page visit your browser makes, the same as typing the address yourself. The address contains no personal data and no identifier.

5. Permissions and why

Permissions requested by the extension
Permission Why it is needed
storage To save your progress, settings, records and hint bookkeeping on your device.

That is the complete list. The extension requests no host permissions, no tabs permission, and installs no content scripts, so it cannot see or change any website you visit.

6. The website, including the hint page

When you open a page on https://amazego.iamtac.com, the web server records a standard access log entry: your IP address, user agent, the page you requested, the referring page if any, and the timestamp. This is how ordinary web hosting works and we use it only to keep the site running and secure — spotting abuse, diagnosing errors and understanding load. The legal basis, where the GDPR applies, is our legitimate interest in operating and securing the site.

Logs are retained for 1 days and then deleted or rotated by the host. We do not build profiles from them, we do not combine them with anything else, and we do not try to identify individual players from them.

Cookies

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics. There is no tracking pixel, no third-party script, no embedded video and no social widget on any page. Nothing on the site needs your consent to store data in your browser, because nothing is stored.

The hint page sends a no-store caching header and is marked noindex, because the code it shows is only valid for a minute.

7. Hint codes

A hint code is a 7 character string derived from the current 60 second time window and a secret shared between the hint page and the extension. The page simply displays the code for the current minute; the extension checks what you typed on your own device. No request is made to verify a code, and nothing about you, your device or your game is sent to the server to generate or check one. Which codes you have already used is remembered locally, so that one code unlocks one hint.

8. Children

The game is a maze puzzle suitable for a general audience. It has no chat, no user-generated content, no accounts and no advertising inside the game, and it collects no personal information from anyone, including children. It is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 where that is the local threshold) for the purpose of collecting personal data, because no personal data is collected at all.

9. Your rights and controls

Direct controls

  • Reset progress — in the game: Settings → RESET PROGRESS. This erases progress, records, statistics, achievements and hint bookkeeping immediately.
  • Uninstall — removing the extension deletes all of its stored data from your browser profile.
  • Export your save — the options page can copy your save to your own clipboard as JSON. It is not transmitted anywhere.
  • Browser controls — you can clear extension storage, site data and cookies at any time from your browser settings.

Statutory rights

Because the extension holds no personal data about you and we do not identify visitors to the website, in most cases there is nothing for us to look up, correct or delete. Where you do have rights under data protection law, we honour them:

  • GDPR / UK GDPR — access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection, and data portability, plus the right to lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority.
  • CCPA / CPRA (California) — the right to know, delete and correct, and the right to opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information and we do not use it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
  • India, DPDP Act 2023 — where India is India, you may seek access to and correction or erasure of any personal data we hold, nominate another person to exercise your rights, and raise a grievance with us first and then with the Data Protection Board of India.

To exercise any of these, email support@iamtac.com from the address you want us to reply to and tell us what you need. We answer within 30 days. We may ask you for enough detail to locate the relevant server log entries — usually the approximate date and time you visited — since that is the only data we could possibly hold.

10. Data transfers

Extension data never leaves your device, so there is no international transfer to describe. The website is hosted in India; visiting it necessarily means your request reaches that server, which is inherent to using any website.

11. Security

  • The website is served over HTTPS.
  • We practise data minimisation: the less we hold, the less there is to lose. We hold no user accounts, no passwords and no contact details beyond emails you choose to send us.
  • The extension executes no remote code and requests a single permission, which limits what a compromise could reach.
  • Support emails you send us are stored in our mailbox and deleted once the matter is resolved.

12. Third parties

The complete list of third parties involved in running this service:

  • Our web host — serves this website and, in doing so, processes the server logs described above.
  • Your browser vendor — Google (Chrome Web Store) or Microsoft (Edge Add-ons) distribute the extension and may collect their own statistics about installs under their own policies. We receive only aggregate, anonymous install and rating figures from the store dashboard.

There is no analytics provider, no error tracking service, no CDN, no font provider, no email marketing tool and no advertising network involved in this service.

13. Changes to this policy

If the extension or the website starts doing something new — for example if sponsor content is added to the hint page — this policy is updated in the same release, and the "Last updated" date at the top changes. Material changes are also noted on the changelog. The current version always lives at this address.
